Your favourite piece of technology

I remember when I was a kid and one day, my father brought a misterious machine, it had a big screen, a table with letters and numbers, and a rare thing called "mouse". That machine was (and is) called Computer. No one at home had any idea about what it was , but when my father started to explain us how to use that, everything looked so easy.

How to forget these days playing Pinball 3D, Buscaminas and Solitario Spider? These were my favourite games until I meet the beautiful Play Station 2. When the Internet started to be more accessible, I used to chat on Microsoft Messenger with my ant that lived in USA, and there was very fun! We used a lot of filters like "send" kisses, a dancing pig or make these famous "zumbidos" to kidding each other.

I think that the young Internet era is the best, because everything was new on that, and the kids used to play computer games but no all the day like now. I feel that before, the technology was only a tool to help us in our daily, but now is like our everything, and I think that is bad because we don´t live the beautiful small things!

Now I have a great Notebook to play, make works and watch some videos. But six months ago, my old computer died, and so I understood that the technology is very very useful for me.

Is incredible how Internet, and technology in general, avanced so fast in a few years. At this step, I wonder how everything will be in some years more.

Why did you choose your career?

I remember clearly when I was a little child and wish to be like my mother. A big woman who gives a lot of love, understanding and dedication to her daughters. I think I was five years old when I wanted that, but I grew up and I started to understand many things aaaand, my thoughts started to change so much. 

My passion for the science and art put me in limbo: what to study? Fine arts or a science career? WHAT A HARD DECISION! I spent the last years of my life thinking about that. Finally, after having investigated the labor fields of each career, I decided to study chemistry and pharmacy. 

But, why? The aspects that I like of the science are chemistry and medicine, and when I discovered the work of a pharmaceutical chemist, I loved the career. And what to say, I was very very happy when I knew I would study that in one of the best Universities! And until now, I think it was one of the best decisions of my life, because the environment, the teachers and my friends are the best!  

Help people, contribute with studies to improve medicine, meet very important and admirable people, and many other things!... I hope to be a good professional, and for that I will do my best.

I hope we all finish our careers well and that we become nice professionals. Do not lose the vocation!
